I've been quiet recently, as nothing really major is going on. Just living my little day-to-day life. Monday Drew gave me a rose, just to make me happy. Have I mentioned lately how wonderful he is?
Just finished reading A Confederacy of Dunces, which was a fabulous read. Moving on to How to Make Love Like a Porn Star by Jenna Jameson. This is one tricksy book to read on the subway, there are lots of pictures.

So, uh, Games Workshop? Could you please not me charge me 4 times (in varying amounts) for the order I placed yesterday? Thanks. Now I'm on hold and being prodded to order some sort of prince thing for the battle of pelinor fields. So geektastic!
In other news, if I may proceed to be schmoopy for 20 seconds... Today marks the one year anniversary of my moving in with Drew. It also marks the 3 year anniversary of my moving toMetro-Boston Braintree.

mood: happy
I'm back. With Big News. So for those of you who don't read Drew's journal, just go
here, as he wrote it up better than I could.
I'll give you a hint, though: I've got a new ring on my finger with which to fiddle.

Am feeling so darn domestic lately. I need to cook things!
I love the way salad looks, all bright and colorful.
So right now is the very first time I've been our apartment alone, and it's neat. I just made salad and fake meat for dinner, am blasting indie rock (and singing off-key), there's a breeze coming in through the window, and bunny's doing...something bunny-like. I'll be off to Miss T's soon for some girly tv-watching and cookie-eating time (though we'll see how well my "fat-free oatmeal chocolate chip" cookies fare). Forgive me for being a bit sappy, but I'm just feeling so happy right now. It's been almost a year, and Drew still makes me feel as giddy-happy as I did back in the day. Ack! So sappy.
So there's this girl in one of my classes who works in The Masons' library. How kickass is that? Apparantly crazy guys go in all the time to try to get members' names and to tell her their various "problems with the Masons." tee-hee.
Also, what the hell else is "Grendel" an allusion to besides the creature in Beowulf? My library director looked at me like I was insane when I told her the name of my rabbit.
I need a good recipe for banana bread, as the changing seasons make me want to bake stuff.

I have the prettiest flowers!!
c_m_i totally wins an awesome boyfriend award. Awww. And I was feeling kinda grumpy as I straggled in to work, but now I'm not grumpy anymore!
So, the super-preliminary Northeastern interview seemed to go well. It ran really, really long, so I was a bit kurfuzzled by the time I left. Not helping is the fact that my tummy hurts so, so much. It also kept me up almost all night last night with its searing pain and agony. Sniff. Gonna get a switch in the antibiotics I'm on today after work, cause I know that's what's at the bottom of this.
Wow, and the love keeps pouring in, now I've got an interview at Suffolk for when I get back from vacation.... though at the rate I'm using my vacation time, the dire straights of my wallet, and this icky sickness, I'm seriously starting to reconsider the entire trip out west. Maybe I should bag the trip, take two days off next week, and save the other three for interviews... I'm going to have to consider this carefully tonight.
But enough of that, I'm just pleased as can be right now. Hooray for happy flowers!
