We're back. Survived the blizzard that's currently raging outside- let me tell ya, it should not take 4 hours to get from Freeport, Maine to Somerville, MA. Had a good time up at my dad's, read most of The Red Tent, saw Spanglish, wherein Adam Sandler again proves that he really can act, and lazed about.

Now- mostly unpacked, tired, and going to be kicking back with some wine and some brainless tv. I am so not looking forward to getting up early tomorrow to drive the car back to the rental place in Harvard Square.

Four hours? Yikes! It took me an hour and a half to get here from Franklin and I feel like a zombie. Glad you're back safe and sound, hon.

Oh yeah. An hour to get through that teeny stretch of NH on 95, then it was snowing so hard that we crawled the rest of the way home at 30-40 mph. And I was hoping for a snow day today... no such luck.

Yeah, Maine was beautiful when we were leaving, it only got bad once we hit NH. Weird.

Oh, and hey, did you know there's a new turnpike exit for Sabbatus?! How neat. It's so convenient for getting out to my dad's!

Merry belated Christmas! Glad to hear you guys had a good time. Allastair and I had to drive home in that blizzard, also, and it took us 5 hours to get from Vermont to Boston. I feel your pain. It was awful.
